ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to my blog. I use a # 10 needle because the eye is bigger. It also helps if you cut your thread at an angle, it is easier. Also if you hold the needle up to a light colored background.

Ooooh Michelle! I can see why you would want to do both. My hands are starting to itch to stitch another applique project. Do you plan to hand-stitch the applique? Did you mail order the BOM or is it from a local shop? Happy Quilting! Sandy
